I was fortunate to grow up in a beautiful Spanish Colonial home in the heart of the Rancho Santa Fe Covenant. Some of my fondest memories include riding my pony to the local golf course for a milkshake and hot dog, and later, spending carefree days on our nearby beaches. My father shared with us a compelling vision for the future of our hometown and the surrounding coastal communities—one that inspired me deeply and still shapes my perspective today.
